1. Who we are
Nexoora (“we”, “us”) operates this remote-job platform. We act as the controller of the personal data described below. For any privacy request, reach us through our contact page.
2. Data we collect
Account information
When you sign up with Google or email, we receive your name, email address, and (for Google sign-in) your profile photo. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
Profile and resume
We store the profile details you add (headline, location) and any resume you upload. Resumes are held in Firebase Storage and are private to your account until you choose to submit them with an application.
Application activity
When you apply to a role, we record the job, the company, your optional note, the resume attached, and a timestamp, so you can track your applications from your dashboard.
Technical data
Like most sites, our infrastructure processes basic technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers.
3. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account.
- To let you upload a resume and apply to roles in one click.
- To send transactional email — a welcome message and application confirmations — via our email provider, Resend.
- To show you and administrators your application history.
- To operate, protect, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Job listings and third parties
Job listings are aggregated live from free public sources — Remotive, RemoteOK, and Arbeitnow. When you open a listing’s original posting or apply on a company site, you leave Nexoora and the destination’s own privacy practices apply. We rely on the following processors:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, and resume storage.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
5. Who can see your data
Your profile, resume, and applications are visible to you and to Nexoora administrators, who can review candidates and applications to operate the platform. Administrators access is limited to authorized team members. Other candidates cannot see your data.
6. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data — including your resume and application history — at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can edit your profile and replace or remove your resume from your dashboard, or contact us to exercise any other right.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and platform security rules so that each user’s resume and data are only accessible to that user and authorized administrators. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Children
Nexoora is intended for people old enough to work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
